Chair yoga at Victory Hall!

Join Patricia Macomber for Chair Yoga at Victory Hall! Held every Wednesday from 12-1pm, come to learn how utilize chair support during yoga for gentle exercise, stress reduction, mobility and balance, mindfulness, posture improvement, accessibility, stretching and strengthening.

Pat “grew up” in the Iyengar tradition of yoga, focusing upon proper alignment of the body. After practicing yoga for over 20 years, Pat decided to become an instructor, earning her yoga certification in 2016 at GraceTree Yoga and Wellness Studio in West Chester, Ohio. She creates a gentle practice, emphasizing slow, deliberate movements focusing on breath while moving safely in and out of poses. Having taught at colleges for over 15 years, she brings her love of teaching, dance and life into each class.

Pat loves teaching new students – and experienced yogis who prefer a slower pace. Her humor and honest approach to teaching shines through whether sharing an anecdote about her own practice or reminding students to listen to their bodies. She firmly believes “You may not be able to do the pose the way you would like today, but you will get there. Listen to your body and do what you can! Oh, and don’t forget to breathe!”
