The grand opening of the Scottsville Center for Arts and the Natural Environment’s new Gallery on Valley is drawing near and they’re looking for artwork submissions for the first exhibit, Arts and Nature! Located at 460 Valley Street in the town of Scottsville, the Gallery will include various exhibits throughout the year as well as host music and art lessons.
Submissions are currently being accepted for the Arts and Nature exhibit which will be on display from March 20 through April 27. The exhibition is open to local artists of any medium, though submissions are limited to three (3) original works of art per artist. Artists must provide at least one photo for each entry.
“We are very excited about this exhibition and are looking forward to seeing a wide range of work,” said Gallery Manager Stevie Loebs.
Applications are due by March 8th and will be reviewed by the Public Arts Committee. Space may be limited by quantity and size of submissions. To apply, visit GALLERY on VALLEY – ARTS AND NATURE EXHIBIT.
