Jefferson-Madison Regional Library and Virginia Humanities are pleased to announce the 2024 Same Page Community Read selection as Rachel Beanland’s Florence Adler Swims Forever, winner of the 2020 National Jewish Book Award for Debut Fiction. Each year, JMRL invites all book lovers to participate in the Same Page Community Read throughout March, providing residents with the opportunity to read and discuss a single book within their community by an author appearing at the Virginia Festival of the Book.
The Same Page kickoff event for the Scottsville Library will be held today, March 6, where readers can pick up a free paperback copy of Florence Adler Swims Forever while supplies last. Throughout the month, book discussion groups and Same Page programs and activities for all ages will be held at the library.
