The finalists for the Ben & Jerry’s Environmental Ice Cream Contest have been announced and TWO of the artists in the Top 12 were from Scottsville Elementary School!
Sponsored by Monticello High School, the contest called on students across the division to submit their artwork for a chance to win free ice cream for an entire year and have their artwork on display at the Barracks Road store for National Ice Cream Day on April 8. We’d like to congratulate Samaa and Landie, whose artwork was selected by Mr. Doug, the owner of the Charlottesville Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream store.
Additionally, the following students artwork was selected for their effort and creativity and each student will receive a gift card for a Free Ice Cream cone from Mr. Doug- Addie, Alayna, Alyssa, Ana, Annabelle, Autumn, Eden, Grant, Ila, Izzy, Jaila, James, Joey, Leighanna, Mia, Teagan, Uma, Wells
