Mark your calendar for April 4 from 9am–2pm and join Bellair Farm CSA for one of their favorite days of the year—Farm Animal Day!
This special event is your chance to peek behind the scenes of a real working farm and experience life up close with our animals. Bring the whole family and enjoy a day filled with fresh air, learning, and unforgettable moments. You will see a wide variety of farm animals, including cattle, pigs, chickens and baby chicks with a few adorable surprise guests! The farm is also excited to welcome back their llama neighbors, along with friends from the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA.
In addition to the animals, the walking trail will be open across the farm, the Barn Store will be open and local vendors will be on site for the day. Come hungry and enjoy delicious offerings from BBQ U and Taiga Pura Vida Coffee as well!

Because Bellair is a working farm, they ask all visitors to follow a few important guidelines to keep everyone safe:
- Please leave pets at home. Guardian dogs will be working near the barn.
- All animal fencing is electrified—please keep a safe distance.
- For the safety of our animals and your family, no touching animals or entering enclosures.
- To help prevent the spread of avian flu, guests with backyard chickens will be asked to keep distance from our birds.
