Bellair Farm Invites Community to Enjoy Peak Pick-Your-Own Season

Now is one of the best times of the season to experience Bellair Farm‘s Pick-Your-Own fields, where visitors can harvest fresh flowers, herbs, and vegetables straight from the source.

For $20, guests can check in at the barn to receive scissors and containers before exploring two Pick-Your-Own fields. The first field, located just outside the barn, features colorful flowers, fragrant herbs, and raised beds filled with seasonal vegetables. Clearly marked rows help visitors identify each plant and learn more about what’s growing. A short walk across the creek leads to the second field, where trellised tomatoes, husk cherries, and the season’s first chili peppers are now ready for picking. Additional herbs can also be found behind the barn.

Bellair Farm encourages visitors to harvest only what they can use in the coming week so that others in the community can enjoy the experience as well. Guests are also asked to pick only when healthy, practice good hand hygiene, and prepare for the summer sun.

More than just a chance to gather fresh produce, the Pick-Your-Own experience offers families an opportunity to connect with the farm and enjoy the outdoors. Visitors are welcome to stroll the trails, relax in the shade beneath the pergola, or treat themselves to a cold popsicle from the barn store while children explore the fields. Whether you’re looking for vine-ripened vegetables, fresh herbs, or a bouquet of locally grown flowers, Bellair Farm’s Pick-Your-Own program offers a fun and affordable way to spend a morning while supporting local agriculture.
