The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive on Saturday, May 11 at the Scottsville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall (158 Main Street). Cosponsored by the James River Good Works Group and the SUMC Methodist Men, this by-appointment event will help meet the current urgent need for donated blood and save lives. To help, make a blood donation appointment for a time between 9am and 2 pm by going to redcrossblood.org and typing in 24590 in the top right “Find a blood drive” window.
