On August 28th, the Persimmon Tree Players will be hosting a playwright workshop at Victory Hall Theater. All are welcome to attend the shop with award-winning playwright Sean Michael McCord. McCord is the facilitator of the Playwrights’ Lab at Live Arts in Charlottesville and will be sharing his experience and advice on play writing in this engaging workshop.
And mark your calendars next August as the PTP will cohost their first ever summer short playwright festival with the Victory Hall Players! Local playwrights are asked to submit 10–20-minute plays for consideration in the event. Deadline for entries is February 1, 2025.
