Albemarle County invites local nonprofits to participate in the FY28 Human Services Funding Process, Arts & Cultural Funding, and Community Non‑Profit Capital Request Funding Process. Applications will open on the Wizehive NextZen online platform on Thursday, October 1, 2026, and are due by 11:59 pm on Monday, November 2.
To help organizations prepare, the County will host two live virtual orientation sessions covering all three funding programs, the application process, and an overview of the Wizehive site. Sessions are optional, will include time for Q&A, and will share identical content, so attendees only need to participate in one session. Dates are:
