On January 11th, students at Scottsville Elementary School competed in a spelling bee organized by Kristie Obrecht, school librarian, EL teacher and reading interventionist. Competition was tough! ACPS Superintendent, Dr. Matthew Haas photographed with winner, Ulric. Second runner-up was Annabelle, photographed with Ulric. The winner went on to compete against other ACPS elementary students on January 30th at the Lane Auditorium.
