A canned pet food collection drive is now in effect through June 21 in the Scottsville area to help feed 200-plus homeless cats and dogs being sheltered at the Caring for Creatures animal sanctuary in Palmyra.
Can and bag donations can be placed in marked drop-off containers at the Scottsville Library, Scottsville Post Office, Ace/Paulett Hardware, Baine’s Books & Coffee, Baked on the James, East Main Street Garage, Kathy Marrs Pet Grooming, Rivertown Antiques, and Piedmont Vet Services in Keene.
