On June 4th, residents gathered to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Scottsville Library. The event featured a commemorative plaque unveiling, remarks from Library Director David Plunkett and Jefferson-Madison Regional Library Trustee Peter Morville and information about the library and town of Scottsville with local author Ruth Klippstein, who had copies of her book Stories from Scottsville. Mayor Ron Smith’s band, Four Hits and a Miss, also performed.
“It was a great time yesterday,” said Branch Manager Anne Lindberg. “I am so grateful for and humbled by the support of this community!”
