On June 22, the town of Scottsville became Bee City. Sponsored by the Scottsville Center for Arts and Nature and the Scottsville Community Chamber of Commerce, various activities were held throughout town businesses and up to the SCAN land. From nature hikes, drum circles, live music, educational classes as well as special bee-themed treats, honey tastings and beers, attendees were able to learn about these insects and pollinating in a variety of ways.
