Great things are happening at Scottsville Elementary School and one special part has been recognized.
This month, Nurse Lisa Bitner was honored with the county’s Game Changer award for the amazing things she is doing at SES. Each quarter of the 2024-25 school year, the Department of Instructions honors four remarkable Albemarle County Public School employees with the Game Changer award. Employees nominate each other from each school level and various departments to highlight colleagues who are making a difference in county schools and throughout the division.
Nominated by Trish Grant, a teacher at SES, Bitner has been with the school since July 2024.
“We are grateful for her hard work and dedication to Scottsville!” said SES principal Cyndi Wells.
